Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa

I was very concerned to find a bare electrical wire on the bed side light.It had the potential to kill some one who touched it.The switch was missing also. I insisted the manager have a look at this.He asked the serviceman to look at it and he proceeded to wrap electrical tape around the wire. I told them that this is not acceptable and this kind of repair is the exact reason why the wire is bare as the tape can fall off.I insisted they unplug and remove this light. I also noticed a major water leak falling on the spare bed mattress, and the air con dripping water on the table and TV was not working either. They decided to shift me to another room as this could not be repaired. The place is nice by the private beach and has great swimming pools.There was no other activities and it is too far to walk to obtain any meals from the local town. The restaurant had nothing to offer the first night other than cold left over buffet which I regret paying so much for.Maybe after talking to a manager they decided to open the restaurant the next night.?

Well we couldn't get there because a typhoon had hit the area on the Friday and we were going to travel up on Saturday for two nights. Were the hotel is located in Nasugbu was hit hard that the roads were washed away and the government put a state of calamity on the area. We tried to cancel because of the typhoon but because where was no refund they wouldn't even compromise and refund us we even asked to change the dates to another time but wouldn't do it. We said you don't expect us to travel up in the middle of a typhoon it's dangerous but no they didn't care. It's a typical greedy hotel that will give no compromise even if a bloody volcano or earthquake happened. It's greed greed greed .. so take it from me don't ever stay in this hotel because they don't care about the client just the money and I know because I live in Manila and know how greedy these businesses are like ....in fact it's probably in a worse state now after being hit by a typhoon

Worth it

It’s an old hotel. They should renovate and improve all amenities and its facilities. Add more staff so they can provide enough service to their guests.
